Shifting a client’s mental state into a place of conscious awareness. In the Hakomi work we're training clients how to work in a different state of consciousness. We're guiding our clients to move to a more conscious state most commonly referred to as mindfulness. In this accessed state we can go into the depth psychology. Teaching clients how to work in this accessed state, ..

Organicity

We are explicitly trusting the unfolding of the clients experience. This is a powerful principle because it is about connecting a client to the innate intelligence that everybody has within.

Unity

The interconnection and interdependence of all phoenemea. That what arries in a client is not an accident, it’s interconnected. And interdependent to their life, to their ecperience. And even that I’m sitting in front of my client is no accident - there’s a connection there that we can trust and find confidence in.

A principle that states we never go against a client's process. There is an inherent trust in the intelligence of the clients process. Our interventions are with the client, not against the client. We don’t run an agenda, we dont impose on the client thoughts or ideas that we have without a concent or really learning if it is really appropriate at this time for this client at this moment. This supports a clients a deeper and deeper trusting their own immergence of what is coming up into their awareness whether it be a physical, emotional, or mental understanding.
